Courtney Beebe, LCSW

Have you experienced trauma; maybe as a child, military, first responder, or crazy life circumstances in your adulthood? Do you struggle in your communications with others and feel no one hears you? Do you struggle feeling connected with others, feeling like you have no balance in your life, or feel your life just isn't what it used to be? Together, we will explore how things have impacted your life and build a new path for you. We can discover who you are without fear.

Whether you are new to counseling or returning, I am honored you are considering me to walk with you on this path with you.

What consists of counseling? Honestly this answer is different for everyone. I am flexible and counseling is what you want/need it to be. Counseling is more than just talking about your emotions. We might talk about your sleep/exercise/dietary/daily habits. We can explore how your body responds to stress. We learn how negative emotions are stored in the body and release it.

I like to blend traditional talk therapy with outdoor experiences like mindful hiking, challenges, or simply breathing fresh air together. I work with those who are feeling stuck, anxious, overwhelmed, and we find new ways to build confidence, balance, and resilience.

I am rooted in an empathetic approach. I know counseling can be tough and I create a nonjudgmental environment. My approach is patient centered, you are the expert in your life. I specialize in trauma, depression/anxiety, grief. I use your life experiences (to include childhood) to help reconnect your mind and body to help improve your daily functioning.

I am a therapist who believes healing doesn’t always have to happen in an office. Sometimes the best way to work through life’s challenges is by stepping outside, moving our bodies, and connecting with the world around us.

Whether we are on a trail, in an office, or virtual, we find ways to manage stress, build confidence, and find new ways to thrive
